Here at IronworkerGear.com, we do our very best to accomodate every customer by sending out their order the moment it is placed. Most of you who have ordered from us probably know us by our quick shipping and friendly service. Unfortunately, because we have grown tremendously over the years, it is becoming slightly more difficult to get each order shipped out the day it's placed.

There may be several factors for an order not arriving quite on expected time:


Backorders

-A product may suddenly run out of stock due to an unforeseen popularity or demand for it.
-Handmade products (HardhatGear leather goods, Rodbuster Chaps, etc.) may take longer to get in stock due to the fact that they are high quality manufactured with little to no machinery.
-The manufacturer may be out of stock on the item, once again, depending on the demand of the product

Order Overflow

-There are times when we receive an order overflow, in which we have many orders and simply cannot get to every order out on the same day ordered.

Timing of Order

-If the order was placed too late in the day to ship out (approx. 4 o'clock Central Time), it may have to be shipped out the next day.
-If the order was placed too late in the day and on a Friday Night, the order if shipped UPS will not be shipped until Monday. *This also includes any major government holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, 4th of July, etc.)

United Parcel Service

When you choose a shipping option via UPS (UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, etc.), you should be informed that UPS does not count the first day as it is not a full day when picked up. As stated above, weekends and holidays are not included.

Also, when you choose UPS Ground as your shipping option, Ground is the most basic shipping option offered from UPS. UPS also requires that we show the amount of time they would take to deliver an order to you. I.E. if an order was placed, and underneath the shipping option UPS Ground it says in parenthesis "Business Days", please understand that that time counts as soon as order is shipped. As stated above, there may be a reason we cannot get the order out in as timely fashioned as expected, and it may be a couple of days before your order will even be shipped depending on the conditions.

We usually ship out your order almost as soon as it is placed, but we felt it was necessary to let you know the reason for an unusual instance where we cannot get an order to you timely. We also felt it was unfair to you as our valued customer to not know why an order may take an extended time to ship out.
