Vaughan Fiberglass hammers are forged from American made, high carbon steel and carefully heat treated and tempered. During the handle molding process, the extra resin is forced into the neck section, super-saturating the fiberglass strands to prevent fraying. The hollow core absorbs shock, and provides Vaughan fiberglass hammers with the balance and "feel" of wood. Head is wedged and epoxy sealed with a slip-resistant grip, contoured for comfort.
